Why This Site Exists
I Need Agent started in late 2024 when I tried to hire an "AI agent" for my small e-commerce operation. Every YouTube video promised magic, every tool claimed to be autonomous, but nothing explained the actual mechanism, costs, or failure modes. I lost $400 on tools I didn't understand.
This site is my documentation-first approach: we test tools, break them, measure costs, and write what actually works. No affiliate-first reviews. No AI-spun fluff.
